Halloween Fun

Halloween came and went but not before Grady was able to dress up. It is funny to look back and see him when he was barely 1 month old (dressed as a bat) til now when he is 1 year old. This year he was a lion. A mighty cute one if I do say so myself. Here are some pictures of him dressed up for Halloween.

Halloween night ended with Grady getting to spend some time with his cousins who had just gotten back from trick-or-treating.

Are we done yet...this is probably how he felt the day that I took him around to see family.

One of the stops that we make is at Jon's office. Betty loves to see Grady!
Grady and daddy! Jon dressed up as a nerd so it was fun to have them pose together.

Grady and Aunt Athena - can you imagine him growling in this picture.

Christmas with the Grady's

Today we officially celebrated Christmas with the Grady family. We started off the morning with some picture taking and then opened gifts. Here is Grady with Lucas, Addison and Dawson.
Here Grady is taking his afternoon nap with Grandma Jeanette. He started the nap off with Grandpa but then ended up getting to snuggle with Grandma.
After a long day with the family, Grady needed yet another nap before bedtime. Addison, Grady's cousin had received a baby bed for her "child". It was just the right size for Grady, so we decided to try him in there for a few pictures.

Grady's First Overnight Trip

Grady and I went to Iowa City after my dr.'s appointment on Monday. Athena had a book party that I wanted to go to and since I was down there, I decided to make it an overnight trip (plus, Jon could get a good nights sleep at home). On Tuesday, Athena watched Grady as I ran to the mall to get something and so Lucas, Dawson and Addison were able to spend some time with him. Addison and Lucas were able to feed Grady and then Addison read to Grady while I was out. He was very focused on what she had to say. Athena also taught me a thing or two about this blog, so hopefully, I am making her proud! This is my first multipicture attempt and video attempt by myself...Well, Athena, how did I do? :-)
All in all, it was a great trip and Grady was such a good boy and everyone had a nice time

Here is Addison reading to Grady!
It was so precious to not only hear her do this, but to watch her be so loving with Grady.
