Grady's First Overnight Trip

The many faces of Grady ...
Grady is such a good little boy! Even though he does not have a schedule down (will he ever), he has been such a blessing to both Jon and I. We love our little boy so much! Here are a few pictures of Grady from the past three weeks! Can you believe he is three weeks old?? Wow!
Daddy and Grady Time ...
Jon is talking to Grady while working on "tummy time"
Our first morning home proved to be very interesting. First, Grady did not go to sleep until 5:30am that morning (he cried all night for us), but then I over flowed the toilet due to not wanting to flush it all night b/c I thought it would distrub Grady (big mistake - thanks honey for cleaning the floor up), but most funny was how Jon came into the kitchen where I was making a bottle and here Grady had pooped all down the front of Jon's shirt...it was so funny! I had to get a picture!
Jon is carrying Grady out of the hospital and we are on are way...to Target to get some medicine. Of course, his first trip would be to Target...Duh! :-)
Jon got to feed Grady for the first few times in the hospital b/c mommy was unable to be with Grady for the first few hours after he was born. Good job Daddy!

Our first day out ...
This was the first time that I was able to drive. So, we took Grady to see Jon at work. Afterwards, we went to his two week appointment. Grady had already gained a pound (9 pounds 4 ounces) and had grown a 1/2 inch (22 1/4 inches)! What a big boy! The Dr. was great and said that we were going to be good parents based on the questions and concerns that we had. Whew! We passed that test!

Grady Stephen Moseley
He weighed in at 8 lbs, 3.5 ozs and is 21 3/4 inches long!!
We went in at 8:00am on Monday 10/6 to be induced
It was a LONG 22 hours and in the end it was determined that I was not going to go on my own and so our doctor decided that a C-Section was the best option!!
Here we are visiting
